SINGAPORE – The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association representing the medical device industry, is delighted to welcome Stryker’s President of Asia Pacific, John Collings, as its new chairman for the association.
John has been intricately involved in the medical technology and pharmaceutical industries throughout his career, which spans over two decades in a variety of key global leadership roles. A proven medical device leader with a strong passion for making healthcare better, John’s strengths include building strategies that foster diverse teams who are driven to deliver differentiated innovation in service to healthcare professionals and patients. In his current role as President of Stryker in Asia Pacific based in Singapore, John oversees all divisions within the region.
Commenting on his new appointment, John said, “I’m honoured to be stepping into this role with the association. APACMed is a vital voice of our industry because together, we have this unique opportunity to help shape policies and redefine healthcare on a larger scale. I look forward to building on a great foundation and seek new opportunities with all our industry partners to help improve patients’ lives across the region.”

Andrew Frye, Senior Vice President and President of Asia Pacific Baxter Healthcare, chairman of APACMed, has relinquished his role on 31 July 2022, after 4 years as chairman of the association.
