A 2-day closed-door workshop on Regulatory Reliance and Capability Building for regulatory personnel in Thailand.

Highlights include:

Regulatory Reliance

• Share feedback on existing SG-TH Reliance Program to make it more robust by including Change Management and Home use devices within the scope of the current program.
• Initiation of Thai FDA CAB pilot discussions, paving the way to mutual recognition between Thailand and Malaysia.
• Kickstarting Reliance programme in Laos & Cambodia with Thai FDA as referenced country

Capacity Building

Train Thai FDA officers on topics such as:

• Good Regulatory Practices
• Bio-Compatibility
• Software as Medical Device for In Vitro Diagnostics
• Change notification
