APACMed’s In-Vitro Diagnostics working group will continue to work on bringing together different stakeholders within healthcare to raise awareness on the value of diagnostics.

Three key pillars:

• Generate awareness around the need for adequate investment on improving diagnostic capacity in APAC leveraging the landmark World Health Assembly (WHA) Resolution’s (particularly Essential Diagnostics List) implementation.

• Advocate for adoption of fit-for-purpose value assessment framework (VAF) for Diagnostic funding and reimbursement in APAC.

• Unlocking the value of innovative technologies such as Precision Medicine through Next Generation Sequencing.
