Artificial Intelligence

The AI Working Group was spun out of the Digital Health Committee in 2024, in order to place more emphasis on the emerging role of AI and MedTech in Asia Pacific. We are covering various forms of AI solutions (e.g., AI/ML, LLMs, GenAI, NLP, etc.) as well as both internal- (e.g., workflow) and external-facing (e.g., clinical) use cases. The Working Group is comprised of more than 50 companies (and growing), representing large and small organizations, actively collaborating together on AI policy matters in the region. Please join us to pave the future of AI and MedTech in Asia Pacific!

Key Projects Being Undertaken in 2024 Include:

  • Producing a seminal whitepaper about AI + MedTech in Asia Pacific.
  • Forming an Advisory Council of technology firms who are active in healthcare.
  • Developing a policy intelligence database to stay in front of AI advocacy.
  • Co-designing, between industry and government, capability building needs.
  • Addressing the topic of AI and ethics with respect to its responsible adoption.
  • Further projects and activities to be further refined heading into 2025. We also hold periodic gatherings to serve as AI briefings, knowledge sharing, and networking.
