APACMed Partner Event: India MedTech Expo 2023
APACMed is a proud partner of the India MedTech Expo 2023 in India, a large- scale Medical Device Expo on Medical Devices sector, organized by Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).
The Expo is being organized from 17th – 19th August at Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat with the focus to showcase India’s journey and opportunities in the Medical Device sector.
The potential for the Medical Device industry is the highest among all the sectors in the healthcare market and presently, various categories of devices starting from consumables to implantable medical devices are being manufactured in India. The Indian MedTech industry consists of both large multinationals as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs), with the current market size of $11 bn & a CAGR of 15% over the last 3 years and represents a sunrise sector of the Indian economy. The industry is currently the 4th largest Asian medical devices market after Japan, China, and South Korea and among the top 20 global medical devices markets in the world.
The event will create opportunities to network and explore collaborations both for the sector’s growth in India and its potential contribution globally, duly bringing together all the stakeholders such as PLI Participants, Start-ups, MSMEs, Innovative Entrepreneurs, R&D Facilities, Incubators, Public and Private Hospitals, etc.
