In 2022, APACMed China released its report “Medical Technologies in Out-of-hospital Care of China–Values, Opportunities and Development Path” (2022), in partnership with Tsinghua University, to summarize out-of-hospital medical care concept, use scenario, application technology and policy trend. Over the past 3 years, in collaboration with Chinese and global experts from Singapore, Europe, the US, Japan, and first-tier cities in China, APACMed continued to deep dive into best practices from the government and the industry with expert consultation and field investigation, and developed the 2025 report-Medical Technologies in Out-of-hospital Care in China–Cases Opportunities and Path Forward. The suggestions raised are developed based on expert and industry consensus, in line with China’s ongoing health reform direction to focus on primary-level care, in which digital health technology has a bigger role to play.
