The AMDC Public-Private Forum is APACMed’s flagship annual engagement with ASEAN medical device regulators and is held during the annual ASEAN Medical Device Committee (AMDC) meeting week.
While the AMDC meeting itself is reserved for regulators, the Public-Private Forum provides a unique opportunity for industry and regulators to come together to discuss regional regulatory priorities, implementation challenges, and opportunities to strengthen regulatory convergence across ASEAN.
The Forum is expected to bring together representatives from all 10 ASEAN Member States, with typically 1–3 delegates from each medical device regulatory authority, alongside senior industry representatives and technical experts.
Why Attend?
The Forum offers participants the opportunity to:
Gain first-hand insights into emerging ASEAN regulatory priorities
Hear directly from ASEAN regulators on current implementation challenges and future initiatives
Exchange perspectives with regulators and industry leaders in an open regional dialogue
Network with regulatory authorities from across ASEAN in one forum
Contribute to discussions supporting greater regulatory convergence and reliance across the region
