The future of healthcare will be underpinned by insights and outcomes derived from data, and the benefits of an interconnected healthcare ecosystem cannot be understated. Health data is needed to achieve a more sustainable, efficient, and equitable healthcare ecosystem, and industry can play a role partnering governments to achieve these objectives.
Recognising this, APACMed and MTAA partnered KPMG Australia to bring industry, regulators, hospital representatives and patient groups for the Health Data Summit Australia on 30 July 2024. The full day event tackled the crucial challenges and opportunities in health data governance, exploring how collaboration between government and industry can unlock the full potential of health data for patients across Australia.
