Improving patient access

The Government Affairs and Market Access Committee works with policy makers and other stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem to shape policies and processes that facilitate increased access and affordability of medical technologies for patients in the Asia Pacific region.

Objectives of the Government Affairs and Market Access Functional Committee:

  • Facilitate collaboration between government, non-government and industry stakeholders to improve patient access to medical technologies
  • Contribute to shaping key areas of value-based healthcare delivery
  • Promote smoother and well-defined post-approval market access pathways
  • Facilitate robust, bi-directional market intelligence and best practice sharing amongst economies across the region
